This bone carving is a beautiful piece of Māori jewellery. The binding is tight, which is paramount for a long-lasting Toki. This Māori necklace comes with a black wax cord. The height at which the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. The Adze or Toki symbolizes strength as it represents the traditional Māori tool, whose blade had to be strong so as not to break when used.
