This jade necklace is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or NZ souvenir. This Maori necklace is strung on a braided traditional black wax cord. The height at which the pendant hangs can be adjusted using the sliding knots.  As each piece is individually carved, slight variations can occur.
