Size: 30mm Diameter This greenstone necklace is a beautiful piece of Maori jewellery. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or NZ souvenir. This Maori necklace is strung on a traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. As each piece is individually carved slight variations can occur. The circular shape represents evolution as a process of transformation from death to birth, ending, and beginning, as a circle has no beginning and no end.
