Greenstone Extra Large Bound Toki Pendant Size (mm): Approximately 100 L This greenstone necklace is a beautiful piece of Māori jewelry.

Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift or NZ souvenir. This Māori necklace is strung on a braided traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. As each piece is individually carved slight variations can occur.

The Adze or Toki symbolizes strength as it represents the traditional Māori tool, whose blade had to be strong so as not to break when used.
